Q Can a 12 pass apply for pilot?

Ans. Eligibility for CPL in india: 12th pass can apply to become a pilot. The minimum requirement is a 10+2 qualification with Physics and Mathematics with English. If anybody don't have PM in 12 then they can clear Physics & Maths through any approved open board like NIOS.

Q what is class II Medical & where we can go?

Ans. DGCA CPL ground classes are theoretical training programs required to clear DGCA examinations for obtaining a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) in India. These classes cover subjects like Navigation, Meteorology, Regulations, Technical General, RTR, and Technical Specific.

Q. what is the eligibility to become a cabin crew?

Ans. Educational qualification: Airlines accept crew with 10+2 but some international airlines require graduates. Final Year appearing is also accepted.

Height requirements: Airline ask for minimum 5’2″ & above for Girls & 5’7” Inches & Above for boys, International airlines usually require an Arms reach test at least touch 212 cms mark.

Weight requirements: - Height and weight has to be in proportion. BMI is calculated and has to be maintained. Girls: 18 to 22 BMI, Boys 21 to 25 BMI

Age requirements:- Airlines age requirement vary from airline to Airline but overall minimum 18 to 27 years and for international is 21 to 30 years.

Q. Who are cabin crew?

Ans. Cabin crew, also known as Flight Attendants, Air Hostess. Are primarily on board an aircraft for the safety and welfare of the passengers and secondly for their comfort.

Q. I cannot speak another language, is this going to stop me from becoming cabin crew?

Ans.Not at all, speaking another language is not essential to becoming cabin crew, although it is desirable.

Q. Do I have to live close to the airport that I would be based at whilst working as cabin crew?

Answer

You will be required to live within a certain distance from the airport you are based at.

Q How much would I earn working as cabin crew?

Answer

Starting salaries are normally around 40,000 to 75 thousand in domestic airline & International Airline offer around 1 lakh 50 Thousand to 2,50,000/- per month including flight pay. Flight pay is an hourly rate paid to you for every hour you are working away from base.

Q. I wear glasses and have heard that I can only work as cabin crew if I have perfect eyesight, is this true?

No, airlines are fine about recruiting people who wear contact lenses or glasses providing these correct your vision to 20/20.

Q. Do I need to complete a course before applying?

Answer

Although not having a qualification or training relating to the role of a cabin crew is mandatory. The airlines do prefer to recruit people who have a knowledge of the role they are applying for.

Q. When is the best time to apply to be a cabin crew member?

Answer

Recruitment drives for the airlines tend to be ongoing throughout the year. Some Charter airlines do tend to recruit higher at the beginning of the year ready for the busy summer season.

Q. What kind of questions may I get asked at my cabin crew interview?

Answer

During the 2 on 1 stage of an airline interview, the interviewers will be asking you questions to find out a little more about you. Q. I have already applied to an airline but was not accepted, can I apply to them again?

Answer

Normally you can only re-apply to an airline after 3 months of your first application. Many cabin crew that were not successful the first time they apply, go onto be invited to an interview second time round. During the 3 month period it is advised to really focus on building up your customer service experience and knowledge on being a cabin crew member.
